allpay’s year-end wrap-up

As we close the chapter on 2025, we reflect on a year that has been defined by innovation, collaboration, and a deepened commitment to our clients, communities, and the future of payments. From forging new partnerships to launching transformative products, this year has seen allpay continue to evolve as a trusted leader in the financial services sector.

Key highlights of 2025

2025 began with a strong focus on talent and development, as we celebrated National Apprenticeship Week and connected with future professionals at the HWGTA Open Evening. Our commitment to learning and growth continued throughout the year, with participation in Learning at Work Week and ongoing investment in our people.

In March, we were proud to be featured in a case study with Microsoft, showcasing how GitHub Copilot helped boost productivity across our development teams by 10%. This collaboration highlighted our drive to embrace cutting-edge tools that enhance efficiency and innovation.

Our presence at key industry events remained strong. At the NHF Finance Conference, we joined Eckoh on stage to discuss the critical importance of payment security and fraud prevention in the public sector. We also recorded two podcasts, one with Voicescape on tackling rent arrears and building financial resilience, and another with Eckoh exploring the future of phone payment security.

Throughout the spring and summer, we expanded our reach and impact. We were honoured to be named finalists at the UK National Contact Centre Awards, with our Client Services team recognised in two categories: Change & Innovation Team of the Year and Best Contact Centre Culture in a Small Contact Centre. These accolades reflect the dedication and excellence of our teams in delivering outstanding client experiences.

We were also shortlisted for two GO Awards, supported the launch of the UK’s first Military History Festival as headline sponsor, and partnered with PAYA Group to deliver secure cash-handling solutions for charities. At Money20/20, we officially soft launched DOSH, a prepaid Mastercard account designed for the unbanked and underbanked. The launch attracted national attention and even featured commentary from Luke Charters MP. We also became the first signatory of Enfuce’s Fortitude Pledge, reinforcing our commitment to responsible finance.

Our allpay cards team made headlines by powering LHV Bank’s landmark UK current account launch, delivering a standout card design and rapid speed-to-market. We also took part in the Worcester Balloon Fiesta and Midlands Air Festival, bringing the allpay brand to new heights, literally.

From supporting local initiatives like the Hoople v allpay charity football match to attending major events such as Money 20/20, Housing 2025, and Fintech Connect, our teams have been active, engaged, and forward-thinking.

Product innovations

2025 has been a year of significant product development. We introduced a new allpayments app, offering users a refreshed and intuitive experience. Our Direct Debit service saw key enhancements, including the launch of Payment Holidays, bilingual Welsh letters, fully managed refunds, and payer name verification, making the process more inclusive and secure.

We continued to bring regular enhancements to the Payments Hub for clients, refining navigation and improving data exports to improve operational efficiency. Meanwhile, we introduced WebChat to our website, giving customers a faster, more convenient way to get support and information.

Trials for Pay by Link Plus have laid the groundwork for even more flexible payment options in the future. Our new prepaid platform, developed in partnership with Enfuce, also marks a major step forward in our award-winning Prepaid offering, while enhancements to our branded and payment gateways will ensure our clients benefit from seamless, secure transactions.

This year, we continued to embed ESG into everything we do. From participating in the Great British Spring Clean to supporting social value initiatives and sustainability pledges, our commitment to people, the planet, and integrity remains at the heart of our operations. Looking ahead to 2026

As we look to 2026, we’re excited to officially launch DOSH, continue to build on our partnerships, expand our product suite, and champion innovation across the payments landscape.

Thank you to our clients, partners, and team members for your continued support. Together, we’ve made 2025 a year to remember, and we can’t wait to see what we’ll achieve next.

Here’s to a successful 2026!
