Regarding the updates to your infrastructure, what are the ports and protocols being used?
The traffic should be going through ports 80 and 443.
With the migration going ahead, will we still be able to download files on Saturday 13th May?
All systems including WebConnect and TotalConnect will be offline during the migration phase with PIFs made available to clients once the migration has been successful. Please visit www.allpay.net/service-status/ for up-to-date information.
Can you confirm specifically what services will not be available during this time.
ALL online payment channels will be offline for the entirety of the migration. Customers will only be able to use Post Office, Payzone and PayPoint outlets to make payments across the weekend.
Will the data still be processed in the UK?
Yes, the data will reside in the UK, both Microsoft Azure and ANS Group will both be sub processors until our migration is complete. We will notify you when ANS group are no longer a sub processor.
Can you share your DPIA?
We cannot share our DPIA with you as this covers our entire business however, we can support you in your obligations of completing the DPIA if you require any further information from allpay.
Our I.T. providers have asked what we need to do to migrate to a new IP address 45.143.224.0/23 and allow them to work correctly? Do we need to allow traffic out to this address?
Yes, you need to ensure any traffic out can access this IP address range but also keep your current IP range access in place until we have completed our migration on Sunday 14th May.
Do we need to allow certain traffic in-bound from this address?
We expect there to be very few who will have to whitelist incoming, if you do not currently whitelist our existing IP range then you won’t need to in the new world either.
Can you provide a little more information about the need to whitelist the IP range? I assume you are referring to our firewall whitelist?
Yes, if you have any of our IP addresses added to your whitelist rules then you need to retain the existing ones but also add in this new IP range
Can you please provide dates the migration is going ahead and when we need to apply this whitelisting?
We have phased our migration of our servers to reduce the impact across our applications. Clients should keep the current whitelisted IPs in place until Sunday 14th May, we will confirm when we have completed the migration before removing the old whitelisting. We suggest you add the new IP range to your whitelisting (if you do apply whitelisting) as soon as you can so you have both running in parallel.
How this is likely to impact our prepaid card users, if any? Are they also required to add the IP address or is this just for Local Authority IT departments? The majority of our users are not likely to know how to make any changes.
This update is aimed at our organisation partners/clients rather than the ultimate customers/End users. Prepaid card users will not have to do anything.
