Learning at Work Week at allpay
This year’s ‘On Air – Online’ Learning at Work Week officially kicked off on Monday. With the business split between working from home and the office this year’s LAW Week provides a unique event to build learning cultures both at work and from home.
Putting a spotlight on the importance and benefits of continual learning and development, the Campaign for Learning coordinate LAW Week nationally and offer resources and ideas for learning & development colleagues looking to run creative, innovative and inclusive activities as part of their Learning at Work Week campaigns.
allpay planned a digital adaption of Learning at Work Week with a series of communications and three podcasts.
The podcasts, available to staff will be launched from Wednesday with ideas ranging from a “Room 101” style podcast themed around the work environment, a podcast with David Manning of Herefordshire Mind and a catch up with some of our leadership team about the ‘new normal’ that will face the business as we gradually phase back into the office.
Daily emails are sent with helpful tips and opportunities ranging from sharing training or development resources, the chance to sign up for online learning resources, improving essential skills, freestyling learning, professional development and webinars to tune into throughout the week all aimed at helping continual learning.
Originally scheduled take place at its normal time this week the main Learning at Work Week has been moved to 5th - 11th October 2020. Learning at Work Week offers an opportunity to run learning campaigns in your workplace. Each year, thousands of organisations run vibrant, creative campaigns and activities which promote a learning culture, stimulate curiosity and engage employees in learning.
