We have a rare and exciting opportunity for an apprentice to join our IT Operations team.
Primary areas of accountability:
Within this role you will:
Be working as part of an IT Operations Team and will be based at the head office in Hereford, although there will on occasion be a need to travel to our other sites in Cheltenham, Ledbury and London.
You’ll provide the first point of contact for internal hardware and software issues.
Be communicating with internal customers over email, via phone or face to face.
Troubleshoot issues in a timely, efficient and accurate manner, keeping the customer notified of current progress.
Be working towards initially achieving a Customer Service qualification through one of our local training providers.
Have the opportunity to learn and work with a variety of different aspects that are required within a IT Service Desk environment.
Key skills required:
To be successful in this role you will have:
A willingness to work towards providing excellent customer service and communicate skills, both written and verbal.
Have an interest in IT focusing on PC Repair and fault finding with strong analytical skills
Discipline, and be self-organised and motivated to learn and improve.
Good general I.T. skills including Office Suite (particularly Word & Excel
Good communication skills
Good team working skills and attributes
