We are now looking for an IT Administrator to join our Service Desk team within IT Operations.
This role is advertised on an initial 3-month fixed term contract, however there is the potential for this role to be made permanent.
Primary areas of accountability:
As IT Administrator, some of your key duties will include:
Being a first point of call into the service desk, answering and logging calls and helping in the management of tickets.
Monitor the call logging system to ensure that all requests for support are managed and responded to in an efficient manner.
Purchase software, hardware and licensing as instructed.
General administration and upkeep of systems, spreadsheets and physical paperwork.
Supporting the IT Team by providing effective administrative support.
Key skills required:
You’ll demonstrate to us that you have:
Excellent customer service & communication skills. Both written & verbal
Experience within an IT Environment is desirable
Experience in general administration
Good Microsoft skills including excel, PowerPoint and word
Experience of producing MI and reports
The Ability to use own initiative and work without close supervision whilst ensuring key issues are escalated appropriately
