As part of our continued business expansion, we are now recruiting for a First Line Engineer to join our IT Operations Team, based in our Hereford Head Office. In this role you will work on assigned calls and take the majority of them through to resolution (primarily Incident, Service Requests, Project Tasks, Problem, Change and Release tickets.) Dealing with customers, suppliers and vendors where necessary to resolve tickets
Primary areas of accountability:
As First Line Engineer, some of your key duties will include
- Carry out moves and changes and deploy PC’s, laptops, monitors etc.
- To provide an effective and proficient desktop support service to both the company and external users; ensuring all required SLA levels are met.
- To ensure that documentation regarding systems, assets and procedures is routinely amended for accuracy as appropriate.
- Assist 2nd line engineers on projects as required either in the office or onsite
Key skills required:
You’ll demonstrate to us that you have:
Excellent customer service and communication skills, written and verbal.
Experience supporting and administering Windows operating systems (windows desktop, Exchange, Active Directory, etc).
Excellent Excel , Microsoft , Outlook, Word, Access and other Office product skills.
Disciplined, self-organised and motivated to learn and improve.
