We currently have a vacancy for a Collections Specialist to join the finance team on temporary contract for up to 12 months.
Primary areas of accountability:
The role will be responsible for;
- Ensuring collection of money owed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Making and taking calls to & from clients to establish reasons for non-payment and keeping in regular contact to ensure payment is obtained promptly.
- Negotiating agreeable repayment terms in accordance with company guidelines.
- Ensuring queries are dealt with in a professional and efficient manner, clients and internal customers are dealt with as appropriate and ensuring accurate records are maintained.
Key skills required:
The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in collections, credit control or a customer service based role. The ability to remain calm under pressure is essential whilst negotiating agreeable terms and the ability to work both independently and as part of a wider team.
