We are now recruiting for a Bill Payments Funds Analyst to join our Client Funds Team in our Hereford Head Office.
You will join a friendly, professional and dedicated team, who work with accuracy and attention to detail, and who pride themselves on delivering the highest standards of Customer Service.
Reporting to Client Funds Manager, you will be responsible for the administration and control of client trust funds across our Bill Payments services.
Primary areas of accountability:
To reconcile the daily settlement payments received from each of allpay’s payment network providers and ensure these correctly reflect the expected amounts. Where adjustments have been made to settlement values, certify these are correct and are appropriately reflected within allpay’s own internal reporting;
Calculate daily inter-account transfers and submit for approval;
Administer and keep up to date client trust reconciliations records, using internal reporting to forecast expected settlement amounts;
Manipulate, and interrogate third party report data to identify reconciling/reporting differences in comparison to allpay’s internal reporting. Where necessary work with internal teams to enhance and refine current reports;
Administer treasury management reconciliations;
Responsible for resolving all internal and external Client enquiries within agreed SLAs;
Supporting the wider Client Funds team activities as required.
Key skills required:
You’ll demonstrate to us that you have:
- GCSE level or equivalent in English and Mathematics at Grade C or above;
- Evidence of working to deadlines and in challenging environments;
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy of data and ability to maintain confidentiality;
- An excellent telephone manner, good Excel, Word and Outlook skills;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, contributing positively to team culture and creating an engaging, supportive and professional environment.
Knowledge of payment schemes and experience in a financial services setting would be an advantage.
