Before Callpay one of the biggest frustrations for our income generation team was getting our debtors to pay.
When the team finally got hold of a debtor on the phone, they’d agree to make a payment, having been put on the spot and the income generation team would expect a payment to be paid.
On so many occasions the tenant wouldn’t call and we wouldn’t get the promised payment.
Now we have Callpay, allpay’s payment management system. We can take payments over the phone from our debtors, striking whilst the iron is hot.
And we’ve reduced our arrears!

The Callpay - Payment Management System offers EastendHomes’ tenants a quick, convenient and secure way of paying their rent by debit card. This payment option has proved to be popular with our tenants. Many now routinely pay their rent each week using the Callpay system.
Callpay has also proved useful in terms of arrears collection as tenants can now pay their rent and speak to a Rent Officer at the same time.

This web based application has enabled all of our Customer Service and Housing staff to securely process payments from their desks.

Using Callpay is easier than our previous system as all the information is held on the card number. It saves time and enables us to verify the Name and Address more easily to ensure the payments are applied to the right account.

Our initial Callpay set up was to take basic credit card or debit card payments, but allpay have certainly listened to their customers, as they have developed further enhancements such as barcoded invoices and one-off payments – ideal for rechargeable repairs, and a solution to reducing the costs of ordering payments cards - we will be looking to sign up for these in the very near future!
