Switch your payment collection provider
Following the Co-operative Bank’s decision to withdraw banking transmission services to local government, we are offering housing associations and local authorities a swift transfer of service to allpay for bill payment collection, allowing funds to be securely transferred into a bank of your choice.
Organisations wishing to transfer to allpay can also utilise a framework* agreement with the Northern Housing Consortium (NHC) – which has appointed allpay as its framework* partner for bill payment collection - avoiding the need to undertake a costly and time-consuming tender process.

In the recent tender process we awarded allpay maximum points for quality because of its proven track record in local government; ability to offer both of the UK’s biggest cash collection networks - which is key for rural areas like ours - and its commitment to payments and the public sector, which is at its core. It also clearly demonstrated its commitment to payment innovation helping us further streamline our processes.
allpay has a proven track record of delivery in supplying electronic payment services to UK local authorities and effectively demonstrated the automated and rigorous processes it has in place to deliver the contract and provide best value for the council and local taxpayers.
allpay was chosen following a rigorous tender exercise after proving that it could implement the contract at the best value for money for our local council tax payers. It has been a pretty seamless transfer. A lot of the stationery was already in place eg cards and barcodes, so it was a case of allpay taking over the existing contract. However, it’s been a pain-free exercise with allpay which has really benefited our residents.
