How the Swipe Card Solution Works

The durable plastic swipe cards offered by allpay.net to all client organisations for distribution to their customers are produced in-house. Each one is encoded and embossed uniquely to identify the individual payer.

Generic payment cards are available but, more commonly, the card design is specified by the client organisation featuring their own livery.

Once in receipt of their swipe card, clients' customers use their card as an identifier to enjoy the benefits of paying their bills at their convenience using a payment method that suits them best.

All of the following payment methods are offered to client organisations as part of allpay's swipe card solution. All of these are available totally free of charge to the bill payer. Many of these services are also available at no additional cost to the client organisation offering them:

Over-the-Counter

Swipe cards can be used in conjunction with cash at plenty of convenient UK locations including all PayPoint outlets, Woolworths stores and Post Office™ branches. Many of these outlets also accept payments by debit and credit card.

allpay.net offers an Interactive Voice Response (IVR) telephone payment system, accessible from either landline or mobile telephones, which enables bill payers with an allpay.net swipe card to make their payments by phone 24/7.

Payments can be made by telephone, text and the Internet using all major debit and credit cards. This feature can be restricted to debit card only if preferred.

Whether an organisation offers one of the above payment methods from allpay.net or all of them, they benefit from having all transactional data made available the next working day over allpay's secure Internet based communication portal WebconnecT in one single data stream.

This allows efficient posting of payments to revenue, housing management or accounting systems, providing a seamless, cost effective and complete solution to payment collection.

WebconnecT is also used to order new and replacement swipecards. There is no minimum volume for these. Orders placed before 3pm on a working day will be despatched by first class post the same day.

Print and Mailing Services

In-house printing and mailing facilities mean allpay.net can additionally handle all clients' stationery requirements including swipe card design and production, corporate stationery and any type of promotional mailing.
