The future is bright for allpay Card Services
allpay, the UK’s fastest growing Card Services provider, is pleased to announce that work has started on the construction of a new £3M building.
The new structure is designed to house its next generation card personalisation and fulfilment bureau. In contrast to the trend of global card services providers moving production overseas, this investment in UK infrastructure demonstrates not only commitment to the sector but also to UK production.
Marshall Haldane, Operations Director at allpay, comments:
“Since receiving MasterCard® and Visa certification for card manufacturing, chip embedding, bureau personalisation and fulfilment in 2009, allpay has grown substantially. This new facility, in conjunction with major investment in state of the art personalisation equipment, will ensure customers continue to receive allpay’s traditional high quality service and competitive lead times.”
Set to open in 2014, the 40,000sq ft. building will enable card personalisation, bureau fulfilment and dispatch to occur on an even faster, more efficient basis. The building will also contain office space, meeting rooms and a fully equipped restaurant overlooking allpay’s nature reserve and conservation area.
The investment is in addition to a newly constructed building, due to open on 1st August, that will house a 600 pallet storage warehouse and a fully equipped gym facility, purpose built for allpay staff. This building supports the two existing production facilities and will host logistics for the new facility.
