Cash collection networks
allpay partners with both of the UK's biggest payment networks, PayPoint and Post Office giving your customers a choice of nearly 40,000 outlets and branches to pay their bills.
PayPoint, which has 27,200 outlets located in high street and retail outlets, is the most recognised bill payment facility in the UK; over 99% of UK households are situated within one mile of a PayPoint agent in urban areas or five miles in rural areas. Convenience and the long opening hours of PayPoint agents are the key benefits of the service in the eyes of customers.
Its retail agent estate in the UK includes convenience stores, newsagents, forecourts, off-licences and supermarkets. Retail groups including selected Co-ops, Sainsbury's Local, Spar, Costcutter, Premier and Texaco account for about half of PayPoint outlets.
In addition, some PayPoint retailers (at their discretion) accept other forms of payment by credit or debit card.
In conjunction with allpay, PayPoint offers a location targeting service whereby allpay clients can request an outlet is opened in a specific area to further enhance the services available to its customers.
The Post Office® is a favourite choice for those bill payers making regular payments on council tax and rent accounts with a nationwide network of 11,800 branches.
In 2012 the Government announced it would be investing £1.3bn on the revamp of the Post Office network; this to include a small number of new branches nationally and also to allow extended opening hours of branches.
Customers can choose to pay with cash or a debit card.
