Gloucester Rugby's Andy Hazell visits allpay to kick-start 'Together we CAN' initiative

Gloucester Rugby star Andy Hazell joined the staff at allpay yesterday to officially launch the ‘Together we CAN’ initiative, designed to support local food banks in the three counties.

Everyone will be aware of the difficult economic times in which we are now living. For some of us, it means cutting back on life’s luxuries, such as an expensive meal out or a weekend break. For others it can mean a daily struggle to survive and put food on the table. There is a growing network of food banks across the three counties, who work with local statutory and voluntary organisations, to provide cans and other provisions to families and individuals who are in difficult circumstances.

On Friday 22nd February Gloucester Rugby are playing against Worcester Warriors at home at the Kingsholm Stadium in Gloucester and are inviting people to come along and bring a can of food to donate to the three counties food banks.

allpay will be holding a ‘Together we CAN’ day on Friday 22nd February and inviting every one of their 250 staff to donate a can for the local food bank in Herefordshire. allpay sponsor Gloucester Rugby and are keen to support initiatives such as this as part of their corporate social responsibility policy; to make the impossible possible for everyone, through social, financial and digital inclusion.

Andy enjoyed a tour of the offices and met many of the 240 staff, including two of the clubs biggest fans.
