Sovini Group increases payment choice and flexibility for OVH customers
Customers of One Vision Housing (part of the Sovini Group) will soon be able to benefit from increased choice and flexibility on Direct Debit payment dates, following the award of a two-year contract to payment specialists allpay.
Formed in 2011, the Sovini Group manages more than 13,000 homes and comprises its own building, maintenance and trade supplies divisions.
To help mitigate arrears under Universal Credit and increase the number of customers on Direct Debit, the Group was looking to introduce a paperless Direct Debit facility, allowing customers of One Vision Housing to choose a Direct Debit payment date on a frequency that suits them.
allpay, which processes more than £1.8bn in Direct Debit payments per annum for nearly 800 public and private sector organisations, was selected following competitive tender.
It will provide its cloud-based Direct Debit service to the Group, allowing staff to set up direct debits over the phone with residents, offering them full flexibility on payment dates and frequencies.
