Diocese gives green light to allpay's broadband technology
“allpay is delighted that the diocese has made such a progressive decision. We now have a wonderful opportunity to broadband-enable the most remote areas of our beautiful county without the need for telecommunications masts and cables. Says Tony Killeen, allpay Managing Director.
“We look forward to building on our relationship with the diocese and individual churches in the future. I am confident this project will help to underline the church’s place at the heart of communities.
“Over the past two months allpay has been testing its wireless broadband technology in a number of trial areas. We have been very pleased with the results and the positive feedback from residents who have taken part in the trials. We are now looking to roll the service out ASAP and I’m sure this will be made easier thanks to the help of the diocese.
“We have already been in talks with a number of individual churches who have been immensely supportive and positive about the project. We appreciate the help we have received and the advice given. We would like to take this opportunity to assure church communities that we are sensitive to the precious and historic nature of these buildings and will do everything to ensure that their fabric is preserved at all times.”
