Reporting to our Sales Office Manager the successful individual will be responsible for co-ordinating all business tenders, using research methods and market intelligence, combined produce competitive and professional tender documentation.

The role will involve checking various Tender Search systems on a daily basis and identifying any contracts which may be of interest to the company, also overseeing the overall liaison with the Managers and Directors who form the Tender Steering group.

The successful candidate should be able to create and maintain professional relationships with customers and staff and have effective planning, communication and organisational skills. It is desirable that the candidate has experience of working with public sector organisations together with an understanding of procurement processes, but full training will be given. The ability to cope under pressure and work to tight deadlines is essential, as is knowledge of formula based Excel spreadsheets and databases and an excellent command of the English language.

A Quality Assurance Engineer is required to define and implement test scripts and procedures and to authorise software releases into the operational environment.

The job will involve leading software investigations and carrying out functional, performance and stress tests in a variety of environments. The successful candidate will have programming, testing or software engineering experience and will be required to work closely with Software Engineers. Experience should include SQL to administrator level and Web applications. Knowledge of VB, C and C++ would be advantageous, as would experience of automated testing tools.

A high standard of written English is necessary as the position requires the writing of reports and the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date documentation. A consistent, methodical approach to problem identification and resolution is also required.

Experience in Quality Assurance is preferred but candidates with the relevant knowledge and skills may be considered.
