How does the allpay system work for credit services organisations?

The organisation, in partnership with allpay, initiates contact with the debtor by mail, sending them a personalised swipecard or a barcoded bill, inviting them to use this to voluntarily settle what is owed via a wide range of payment methods.

Any payments made by the debtor against the unique reference number on their swipecard or barcoded bill are consolidated by allpay, with electronic information files available to the organisation the next working day via a secure web portal. Our electronic payment files can be configured to interface seamlessly with existing revenue and accounting systems plus a wide range of bespoke reporting and complementary payment tools are available.

1st Credit Ltd utilise allpay’s payment swipecard service to allow its debtors with no bank account (often elderly or unemployed) to make cash payments easily and directly through any Post Office^® or PayPoint outlet.

The allpay swipecard enables 1st Credit Ltd to offer a convenient and cost-free service to the debtor that eliminates the need for the customer to visit a bank, send a postal order or obtain a third party cheque to make their payment. The debtor can simply use their swipecard to pay in cash at any Post Office^® or PayPoint and receive a full receipt.

All payments taken using allpay’s swipecards are recorded securely and delivered electronically into 1st Credit Ltd's internal system. Each allpay swipecard is assigned to an individual customer account so there is no problem with lost or delayed funds - often a problem with traditional bank payments as customers often enter incorrect reference numbers.
