The road to Wembley starts at allpay.park - August 27th, 2005

Staff from allpay.net turned out in force to cheer on Westfields FC when they took part in the FA Cup Preliminary Round against Sutton Coldfield Town.

allpay.net has struck up a close association with the Hereford-based club after becoming their ground sponsors and allpay.park was buzzing on Saturday as the teams took to the pitch.

Before the match, Westfields Chief Executive Andy Morris thanked allpay.net Managing Director Tony Killeen for agreeing to sponsor the game.

Westfields started the match as underdogs with their opponents playing one division higher but they showed little signs of being overawed by the occasion and it was their star striker Matt Aubrey who stole the show.

Sutton Coldfield dominated the early exchanges without creating any clear-cut chances and the crowd had to wait until just before half time for the first goal.

Fortunately for the home fans it was Westfields who took the lead, Matt Aubrey prodding home from close range.

It gave Westfields the confidence to start the second half on the front foot and they ended up running away with the match. Aubrey scored twice more to complete his hat-trick and 'Fields ran out 3-0 winners.

Towards the end Sutton Coldfield's frustration boiled over and there were a number of unsavoury challenges. The bald referee also came in for some stick but he handled proceedings admirably.

An ecstatic Andy Morris was delighted with how his team had played and Westfields can now look forward to another big pay day after drawing Belper Town at home in the next round.

"We got £1,000 from the FA for winning this so we have to thank Matt Aubrey for his goals," he said.

To mark his hat-trick, Matt was presented with the match ball signed by all the Westfields players.

Andy Morris added: "I'd like to personally thank Tony Killeen and allpay.net for sponsoring the game and for turning out in such good numbers to support us. Roll on the next round."

Meanwhile, allpay FC drew 1-1 with Westfields Reserves in a pre-season friendly.

Andy Morris praised allpay goalkeeper and manager Dan Gay for keeping his side in it for long periods as Westfields created chance after chance.

"He did a really good job and the only time we beat him was when his brother scored an own goal. I was really impressed by the whole team actually," he said.

Smiffy scored allpay's goal in the first half.
