The Guardian Public Services Awards 2004

allpay.net is absolutely thrilled to announce its partnership with The Guardian newspaper in launching The Guardian Public Services Awards 2004.
A brand new initiative for 2004, The Guardian Public Services Awards aims to provide a platform for recognising and rewarding outstanding achievement by teams and individuals working in public services in the UK today.
It is hoped that by honouring and promoting such achievements, we can educate and inspire others, provide a catalyst for further improvement and innovation, and inspire positive change.
The Guardian Public Services Awards will be divided into nine broad categories which it is hoped will reach into issues affecting all areas of public services:
- Recruitment and Retention
- Service delivery (children's services, asylum seekers, mental health)
- Technology
- Communication/community relations/customer service
- Multi-agency initiatives
- Diversity and Equality
- Finance
- Transport
- Public Servant of the Year
allpay.net has chosen to be the sole sponsor of the "Finance" award since assisting the public sector towards financial innovation and excellence is at the very heart of our business as the UK's leading payment solution specialist.
The Guardian Public Services Awards aims to be broad and to target all workers in public services across all levels. All sectors will be eligible to enter, whether public, private or voluntary, with a specific focus on excellence in team working and partnerships.
The awards ceremony will be held in November at a top London venue where nominees can look forward to a glittering event with celebrity speakers.
Both allpay.net and The Guardian are committed to ensuring that the public sector has its hard work and achievements recognised so we sincerely hope that you will take the time to log onto the official awards website at to find out more information.
