allpay.net Wins Preferred Partner Accolade from Northern Housing Consortium
Major player in Social Housing officially recognises allpay.net's leadership in bill payment solutions
Hereford, UK; February 2007 - allpay.net is pleased to announce it has been chosen as the Northern Housing Consortium's (NHC's) preferred partner for bill payments. This follows the Consortium's decision to undertake extensive evaluation of bill payment service providers.
NHC's due diligence initiative to review all current and future bill payment requirements means new and existing members, including Housing Associations and Local Authorities, will no longer have to spend their own time and money in undertaking individual tenders for such services.
Using allpay.net, members can take immediate advantage of the industry's broadest range of bill payment solutions including those based on swipe-cards, the Internet, Direct Debit, IVR and TV. By offering their customers the widest choice of channels for paying rents, council tax and other bills, NHC member organisations can focus more fully on core business and delivery of services. They will also benefit from allpay.net's competitive transaction charges and unrivalled customer service and after-sales care.
John Moralee, NHC's chief executive, commented, "The Consortium has worked with allpay.net for the past three years and the time was right to refresh our offering to Consortium members. There were several submissions to the OJEU (Official Journal of the European Union) tender process, and following a detailed evaluation of a high number of quality submissions, allpay.net were the ultimate choice, because they were the provider who were able to offer the broadest range of services, delivering far greater choice and flexibility for the end user."
John Moralee continues, "We are also very impressed with the new solutions allpay.net currently has in development, such as text reminders and Sky TV. We feel that it is this range of services, combined with the significant potential savings involved that will make the solution extremely attractive to users."
Northern Housing Consortium's primary role is to support and represent its members, who are responsible for 86% of social housing in the North. This is done through the provision of a range of products and services aimed at ensuring that the interests of the North are fully consulted, represented and served at sub-regional, regional and national level. allpay.net is proud to be associated with the Consortium which has developed unrivalled respect and credibility within the housing sector, and is seen as 'the Voice of the North'.
Debbie Gratland, allpay.net's sales director, commented, "We are delighted to have received this seal of approval from such a major force in the social housing sector. It is a further example of how allpay.net's bill payment services will meet and exceed even the most stringent of Housing Association and Local Authority requirements."
