As one of the UK's fastest growing companies and one of Herefordshire's leading employers, allpay is committed to managing its growth responsibly so it can continue to make a positive contribution to the community and the environment.
allpay even has its own Charity Committee - The A-Team.
Their mission
Raising funds to positively change lives, through the organisation of events, enabling allpay staff to share the enjoyment of being part of a team and community.
allpay's involvement in the local community includes:
St Michael's Hospice
Located in Bartestree, Hereford, St Michael's Hospice is committed to providing specialist palliative care for people with life threatening diseases and support for their families and friends.
The Hospice also undertakes valuable research into ways of improving the quality of life of those living with terminal illnesses.
Along with regular fund raising and donations, allpay makes its printing services available to the Hospice.
HVA is a council for voluntary services working across Herefordshire to support the voluntary and community sector. The organisation supports individuals, groups and companies in the community with various services coming under the headings of: -
Community development
Volunteering/ The Volunteer Centre
Direct services
Developing a voice
allpay has worked with HVA since 2005 as the main sponsor of the hugely successful bi-annual Volunteers of the Year Awards. They have also designed and produced a number of promotional materials.
The Herefordshire Volunteers of the Year Awards was supported by allpay again this year where we recognised the hundreds of Hidden Heroes from across Herefordshire for their fabulous voluntary work!
Westfields FC
allpay supports the Hereford-based football club Westfields FC who play in the Midland Football Alliance.
As well as a 30-year sponsorship deal (set up in 2004) to name the Westfields Football Club ground, 'allpay.park', the 2006/2007 season saw allpay become the club's official sponsor.
This entails providing kit for the first team as well as new training kit including clothing apparel, training and match balls along with complete assistance with the printing of letterheads and home match day programmes.
The Courtyard is now 10 years old and has evolved and developed into a well established and highly regarded, vibrant arts centre serving the whole of Herefordshire and the surrounding region.
allpay is a big supporter of the arts centre and the work they do; we are members of the Business Club and have sponsored the last three Courtyard Junior Youth Theatre productions The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe (2011), The Wizard of Oz (2009) and The History Boys (2010). Through sponsoring the Youth Theatre’s various productions and the Platinum membership, allpay is able to play a vital role in supporting the arts in Herefordshire.
allpay is committed to promoting good environmental practice and recycles what it can, from aluminium cans through to paper, boxes and even its plastic swipecards.
Our activities take our representatives across the length and breadth of the country and so we replaced a number of company cars with the more environmentally friendly Toyota Prius.
We continually look for ways to improve energy efficiency at our offices and with assistance from organisations such as The Carbon Trust, allpay has also created an on-site conservation and nature area complete with bird, bee and bat nesting boxes, a pond and an abundance of flora.
As our company is growing extensively we want to give something back to the community in which we operate. It is important to us that we get our name known locally to inform the public that this is a Hereford based business.
Tony Killeen, Managing Director and founder, allpay
Having been involved with Hereford Courtyard’s Youth Theatre for a number of years, allpay is very much looking forward to this year’s production of Our Country’s Good
