Herefordshire, located in the West Midlands, is only an hour and a half away from Birmingham, Cardiff and Bristol and is easily accessible via train.
Famous for its wealth of varied landscapes, fascinating history and mouth-watering local produce, Herefordshire has vast amounts to offer.
In Hereford’s High Town you can find a number of excellent one-off boutiques and eateries, well known shops, restaurants and bars as well the widely renowned farmers’ market. The city also benefits from a cinema, bowling alley, theatre, leisure centres and private gyms, swimming pools, plus its own football and cricket club.
Away from the city centre, there are endless plains of green fields and spectacular woodlands. Not forgetting the rich farmland where some of Herefordshire’s finest and widely renowned produce is grown. Plus if you’re into country walks then Herefordshire is the place to come, with plenty of well-trodden trails to explore and walking groups to join too.
You’ll also find an abundance of heritage to take in upon visiting one of the many manor houses and castles that surround Hereford.
On top of everything else, a brand new development opened in 2014 located in the heart of the city which provided access to a shopping complex, a cinema and a variety of places to eat.
