In its latest move, allpay Limited has launched a Prepaid Card.
In fact the company think the product is so good that they’re even using it themselves!
The allpay Prepaid MasterCard® cards, issued by PrePay Technologies Ltd., appeal to a wide range of organisations looking to modernise their payment methods and move away from costly cash, cheques and vouchers. allpay’s own cards will be used for all staff expenses, to purchase train tickets, accommodation and other such items.
allpay has developed the card by working closely with its existing clients, who are predominantly local government, housing associations and credit unions, but Managing Director Tony Killeen believes the product will also be popular locally: “We would love to hear from companies in Herefordshire who would like to enhance their expenses process with a simple prepaid card system. We’ve ditched our corporate bank cards in favour of this scheme as there are so many benefits to using it. It saves us money whilst also improving control and security over the company’s funds. Individuals cannot spend more than the amount loaded onto the card,” he says.
allpay has made it simple to use through a fully web-based card management system – an administrator simply loads funds onto the card for the user, a purchase is then made in any location where the MasterCard Acceptance Mark is displayed and it can then be tightly tracked with an easy reporting and reconciliation system.
allpay is unique in the Prepaid Card market as it provides a one stop shop. As well as providing the system to manage the cards, allpay also designs and manufactures them, allowing clients to have bespoke card and stationery design with their own branding. This can be done even for relatively small numbers of cards, something that is just not available cost effectively from other suppliers.
The first client has already ‘gone live’ and it is hoped that others will soon follow as Managing Director Tony Killeen comments: “It really is an exciting time for us! With a full sales team out on the road it is hoped that this new addition to our payment portfolio will be just as successful as our core payment collections business. We really are steaming ahead and are very lucky to have such a great team of people driving these exciting projects forward”.
