allpay provides a quick and cost effective cashless payment system for the payment of meals and other items in schools and colleges.

It provides users with the ease of paying for items without cash. This means faster transaction processing for you and reduced queuing time for them, whilst removing the potential for losing money. In addition users can monitor spending online.

How it works...

All users are allocated an account, much like a bank account, and issued with a swipecard. The swipecard provides reference details to allow users to load their own or child’s account. They can do this by making a payment, 24/7, using a range of payment options:

• Online
• Over the phone
• Over the counter at any PayPoint or Post Office^®
• Through the allpay App.

This means parents can pay by cash, cheque or debit card anywhere in the UK, providing more convenience than any other supplier.

The account will be credited within 15 minutes for their child to pay for items without cash. Parents can also pay directly for items such as trips, music lessons and after school clubs etc.

When it comes to pupils paying, their account is identified at the till using a choice of various identification methods such as swipecards, contactless cards or biometrics. The payment is processed electronically with funds being deducted from their account.

Parent's account information...

All account information, including individual cash balances, monies spent and loaded onto the account, is held securely. The swipecard is an identifier – if a user loses their card, their money is safe, and a replacement card can be issued.

Users credit their account with a swipecard in advance and debit it at the point of sale. It’s a quick and efficient system.
